Lala Korall
Executive Vice President & Principal Broker
Lala has more then 30 years of expertise in Business Development. She helps companies expand nationally and internationally while supervising all facets of project management. Lala is also a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia and she works with investors in Commercial Real Estate, helping them build portfolios of properties generating high yields and returns.
With her international background, Lala helps bridge the cultural and commercial differences, between international companies and the US economic, political and commercial sectors. She started her business development and real estate career in 1985, while attending Harvard University where she graduated with honors in economics and political science. Lala also holds an MBA Degree in Management from the University of Maryland. She has lived in Europe, Israel, and the United States, is fluent in English, French, Hebrew, and Dutch, and is conversational in German and other languages. As such, she is sensitive to the negotiation and business styles of different countries and cultures, a valuable advantage given the international focus of her work.
Lala is savvy in strategic planning, business negotiations and project management with a successful track record generating, penetrating, and closing multi-million dollar contracts. She works mainly in the B2B and PPP spaces. She has helped companies access millions of dollars in public funding at the local and state level. Lala has worked with project teams in financing, management, engineering and business development, at Fortune 500 companies such as Applied Materials, HP, Creo/Kodak Company, Kla- Tencor, Danaher Corporation, Dominion Resources, where understanding the cultural diversity has enabled her to bridge the cognitive differences between engineering and suppliers bringing projects to a successful conclusion.
Lala enjoys working with small to medium size companies, is a hands-on manager and a team player. She has helped companies reach and exceed their targets by bringing the appropriate people and resources together. Prior to establishing European Business Development Inc, she started 3 companies that continue to be successful businesses today.
In 1994, the “Lady Globes Magazine”, – a monthly issue of the daily leading financial newspaper “Globes”, voted Lala as one of the top five Business Women in Israel.
She was a member of the Parliamentary Subcommittee for the Advancement of Women in the Workplace and Economy in Israel, she contributed to new legislation to improve the situation of women-owned businesses.
She enjoys helping teenagers and the younger business generation find their path in life.
